The eldery home in Prague Strasnice is designed as a miniblok with fourteen small residential units and several communal areas that create a protected residential community for eldery people.
The building is oriented longitudinally and it occupies the full width of the site. The main entrance is located in the south.
The communal spaces are located in the edge parts, open to the street . There are also commercial services such as a hairdressing, a podiatry, a pharmacy and also spaces for exercises, massages and medical care. These functions are divided into two parts and separated by lockable doors from the residential section in the middle of the house. There are common seating in the corridors. Seatings communicate between themselves. A terrace with flowers and vegetables occupies a part of the third floor. It offers work therapy, views and seating.
