Barbora is a certified freelance architect based in Ostrava, Czech Republic.

She studied architecture and urbanism at the Faculty of Architecture in Brno, CZ and at the Technical University of Graz in Austria. During her stay in Graz she felt in love with cycling in a skirt.

She worked as an architect in several architectural studios in Brno and Ostrava. Barbora was involved with carrying out quality control on construction site of University of Canterbury in New Zealand.

She travelled through New Zealand, Southeast Asia and South America as she finally ship-wrecked in the Caribbean Sea and returned home.

Barbora worked as a chief architect for the international architectural studio RMJM. She managed for example the project of Fifth Building of the Moravian-Silesian Innovation Center.

 

Her passion for conceptual simplicity and quality in design creates unique projects while her interior work is notable for merging art and accessibility.

Aesthetics and efficiency, timelessness, sustainability and quality of the used materials are essential for her.

She enjoys non-traditional assignments and approaches to clients with empathy.
