The overall shape of the cluster of rings around the light is inspired by various religious symbols but no symbol copies completely. It becomes universal sacred space. Tunnels symbolize the journey of life from birth, when a man comes into the world, pushed out of the “tunnel” vagina, after death, when a man goes to the light at the end of the tunnel.
